Finance & Business Planning Specialist (Global Medical Device Company) (#1592)

A senior finance planning and analysis role supporting the commercial organization of a global medical device business in Japan.

• Lead or support annual planning, budgeting and forecasting cycles, working with the local finance team and regional counterparts
• Analyse sales performance, pricing, volume and mix, and gross profit to explain the drivers of results
• Prepare management reports, P&L analysis and commentary for local and regional leadership
• Evaluate business cases and investment proposals through modelling and scenario analysis
• Strengthen financial controls, support audits and improve planning and reporting processes

Full-time, Tokyo-based, with occasional regional travel.

• 5+ years in finance, FP&A, accounting or a related business function
• Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills; budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience
• Ability to partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders in a matrixed organization
• Business-level English and Japanese, with confidence presenting to regional audiences
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics; MBA, CPA or CMA preferred
• Preferred: commercial finance experience in healthcare, medical device, pharma or another multinational
