Job description

Lead accounting activities for the Japan entity of a global company, with some FP&A responsibility
Monthly and annual closing, statutory and financial reporting, audit support and internal controls
Budget preparation, forecasting and actual-vs-plan reporting
Work with a shared service center and manage administrative staff
Bank operations, fixed asset management, tax return and statutory financial statement preparation
Collaborate with APAC and global finance teams
Tokyo-based; salary range JPY 8-11M

5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, with a full understanding of the annual accounting cycle
Knowledge of US GAAP and JGAAP
Experience with tax audit support
Language: Japanese (business level) and English (Professional)
Self-motivated, able to work independently and take ownership
Problem solving and conflict management skills
Comfortable collaborating with global teams
