Real-World Evidence Lead – Japan

A global pharmaceutical company is hiring a real-world evidence expert in Tokyo (on-site) to turn real-world data into evidence that guides business decisions and supports the value of its medicines.

• Run real-world data analyses and build Japan-relevant data assets, using advanced analytics including AI and machine learning.
• Design and carry out observational and patient-reported-outcome studies, including evidence for health economic evaluations.
• Partner with medical, marketing, policy and access teams in Japan and globally, and present evidence to external stakeholders.

• Postgraduate degree in a quantitative health field such as epidemiology, biostatistics, public health or data science (PhD preferred).
• Strong programming and large-scale data management skills, plus advanced analysis of real-world data with AI and machine learning.
• Experience analysing claims, electronic health record or registry data is a plus.
• Track record of peer-reviewed publications and cross-functional leadership.
• Strong written and spoken Japanese and English.
