Senior Analyst, FP&A & Operations Finance Support (Medical Devices) (#1572)

Role Overview:

Provide finance support to an operations organization (logistics and customer service functions) covering Asia-Pacific, with a primary focus on the Japan market. Partner with business leaders to influence strategy and the achievement of financial goals through financial analysis and decision support, and support FP&A process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead business planning and update processes, coordinating detailed bottoms-up planning for key markets

- Support regional FP&A submissions for planning cycles, forecasting and actuals reporting

- Prepare regular reports, commentary and monthly performance and planning decks for leadership reviews

- Lead or support period-closing activities, including accruals, fixed asset transactions and intercompany cross-charges

- Highlight risks and opportunities to drive business decisions

- Perform ad hoc analytics such as scenario analysis and cost benchmarking

- Support compliance and accounting policy awareness within the function

- Lead or support FP&A process changes

- Light international travel (approx. 5%) for regional responsibilities

Must Have:

- Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Economics or Finance preferred)

- Minimum 5 years of finance, accounting or related business experience

- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and PowerPoint proficiency

- Ability to build trusted partnerships across business and finance, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills

- Strong planning and prioritization skills in a matrixed organization

- Learning agility and flexibility across multiple Asia-Pacific markets

- Business-level English and Japanese, with confidence presenting in English

Nice to Have:

- MBA, CPA, CMA or similar qualification

- Ability to work autonomously and accurately

- Strong financial analytical skills
