Job description

What You'll Do

  • Lead communications strategy for a major therapeutic area.
  • Advise executive leadership on communications and reputation.
  • Drive disease awareness, patient engagement, and corporate reputation.
  • Lead media, public affairs, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage agencies, budgets, communications KPIs, and compliance.
  • Champion internal communications, change management, and crisis communications.
  • Collaborate across Japan, regional, and global teams.

Requirements

Ideal Background

  • 8–10+ years in Corporate Communications / Public Affairs.
  • Healthcare, Pharma, Biotech, or MedTech experience preferred.
  • Strong media relations and executive stakeholder management.
  • Fluent Japanese; business-level English preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent project management skills.
