Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales force effectiveness initiatives across the Japan organization.

  • Implement and execute the commercial excellence and sales effectiveness plan.

  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve sales productivity and performance.

  • Manage and optimize CRM platforms for tracking and reporting performance.

  • Develop, monitor, and report KPIs, incentive schemes, and performance dashboards.

  • Provide data-driven insights, forecasting, and commercial performance analysis.

  • Support financial planning related to volume, revenue, and operating expenses.

  • Promote continuous improvement and best practices within commercial teams.

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and training functions.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of five years of experience in sales, marketing, or commercial excellence.

  • Fluency in both English and Japanese, written and spoken.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities.

  • Proven project management and cross-functional collaboration experience.

  • Advanced experience with CRM systems and business intelligence tools.

  • Strong communication skills within multicultural environments.

  • Knowledge of the Japanese healthcare or pharmaceutical market preferred.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
