Key Accountabilities:
Financial Planning and Reporting:
-
Lead and support business planning cycles in collaboration with FP&A teams at local and regional levels.

Influence goal setting, resource allocation, and strategic priorities for the business unit.
-
Consolidate and review franchise financial data for budget submissions and adhoc analyses.
-
Support strategic planning and multi-year growth plans.
-
Provide insights from macroeconomics, reimbursement trends, competitor analysis, and growth drivers.
-
Ensure timely, accurate, and relevant reporting, including dashboards, commentary, and P&L analyses.
-
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and simplicity.
Business and Financial Projects:
-
Support business-wide initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
-
Provide insights on cross-market initiatives and finance programs.
-
Assist with planning and execution of incentive programs, rebates, and other financial initiatives.
-
Implement educational programs to enhance financial acumen and compliance.
-
Lead or support adhoc projects as required.
Preparation for Business Separation:
-
Support or lead processes to enable independent financial operations, including ERP, CAPEX, and procurement systems.

Define and harmonize financial requirements and governance for standalone operations.
-
Drive cross-functional execution, vendor coordination, data migration, and change management.
-
Support internal and external audits related to the separation process.
Compliance and Audit:
-
Promote a strong compliance culture across the organization.
-
Support finance, tax, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to SOX, FCPA, and other regulatory requirements.

Assist with internal and external audit processes as required.
Requirements
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree or financial certifications (MBA, CPA, CMA) preferred.

Minimum 5 years of finance business experience.

Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
-
Strong commitment to compliance, accounting, and internal controls.
-
Ability to influence senior-level business decisions effectively.
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Japanese.

Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset.

Experience leading successful process improvements.

Wage details
Base Salary: 10.4M JPY
Bonus: 20% / 2.6M JPY
