Position: Data & Technology Solutions Team Lead / Director
Location: Central Tokyo
Overview:
Lead a cross-functional data solutions team focused on designing and delivering innovative data platforms and business intelligence environments. This includes strategy, execution, and operations for client-facing data services, analytics tools, and emerging technologies such as generative AI.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end delivery of data warehouse (DWH), BI, and analytics solutions for clients.

Manage and grow a 50+ member organization across data engineering, architecture, analysis, and project management.

Lead the local adaptation and rollout of global offerings while driving the development of new, market-relevant solutions.

Collaborate closely with both domestic stakeholders and global counterparts to expand solution offerings.

Spearhead initiatives involving AI integration and data-driven commercial models in the healthcare space.

Requirements
Expected Milestones:

0–3 months: Gain in-depth understanding of current offerings.

3–6 months: Take full ownership as team leader.

6–12 months: Drive organizational transformation toward a solution-oriented model.

Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
Preferred Skills:

Working knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data platforms (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, AWS).

Familiarity with healthcare data systems and industry-specific solution delivery.
