Summary:
Join a leading global healthcare company as Legal Counsel supporting the MedTech business in Japan. This strategic role advises business leaders on legal matters, ensures compliance, manages risk, and contributes to high-impact initiatives that shape the future of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice to business leaders across relevant Business Unit(s)

• Advise on compliance with local laws, industry codes, and internal policies

• Support risk management, training, and implementation of legal policies

• Oversee litigation, investigations, and dispute resolution

• Manage external counsel and legal budgets

• Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives, including M&A and governance

• Partner closely with teams across HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, and more

Qualifications:
✔ Qualified Japanese Bengoshi
✔ JD / LLB from a Japanese law school
✔ Bilingual: Native-level Japanese & fluent English
✔ 8+ years post-qualification experience
✔ Experience in healthcare or multinational corporations preferred
