We are seeking a Compliance Program Manager to lead the implementation and optimization of healthcare compliance (HCC) programs across Japan. This strategic role ensures business alignment with internal compliance frameworks and global regulatory standards, while enhancing operational efficiency and risk mitigation.

As a core member of the Japan compliance team, this position will collaborate with regional and global counterparts to identify and implement scalable, harmonized compliance solutions.


βœ… Key Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of compliance programs across business units in Japan.

  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve HCC operations and process efficiency.

  • Support compliance-related change management and project portfolio management.

  • Collaborate with regional/global teams to align local programs with international standards.

  • Identify areas for innovation and develop new compliance solutions.

  • Communicate best practices and implement standardized controls where necessary.

Requirements

🧩 Profile & Skills

  • High integrity with strong ethical values.

  • Deep knowledge of HCC, anti-corruption laws, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Solution-oriented with a proactive, hands-on mindset.

  • Fluent in Japanese and English (verbal and written).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

  • Agile, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

  • Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulated industries.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry preferred.

  • Understanding of Japanese regulatory environment and FCPA compliance.

  • Supervisory or people management experience is a plus.
